Orders & Postage

We generally ship via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. We will occasionally use a courier for any items we are unable to send via Royal Mail/ Parcelforce.
FREE standard UK delivery is available on all orders but please note this is not a tracked service and the tracking number that is provided when the order is sent out will only show when the parcel has been delivered.
There is the option to upgrade to Royal Mail 1st Class or a Tracked 48 with signature for an additional payment.
No discount code is required to activate free delivery but please note this offer is restricted to private customers and cannot be applied to any wholesale orders.
We ship UK orders within 1-3 working days after an order is placed. All standard deliveries will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class and can usually be expected within 2-4 business days. 
Items sent by Parcelforce can take up to 7 days to arrive.
If you need your candles urgently please get in touch prior to ordering and we’ll do our best to accommodate
Please email uigcandles@gmail.com with your change request as soon as possible. We are happy to make adjustments to your order before it has left the premises.
Please note: we are available Monday to Friday, but will do our best to respond ASAP.
Absolutely! Our products make fantastic gifts on their own, but we are happy to include a card for you. Just put a note with the order detailing what you would like us to write.
We won’t include a receipt in with the order so your recipient will never know how much you spent.
Please note: Uig Candles return address  will be on the exterior of the package.
Promotional codes may be issued from time to time. They can be applied to all private orders, regardless of value.
Exclusions may apply to some promotions.

Some of our fragrances are seasonal, meaning they are only available during certain times of the year. If you are looking for a specific scent that you do not see, please let me know by emailing uigcandles@gmail.com and I will let you know if or when it will be available.

Our Candles

It is important to me that my candles are eco-friendly and so I use 100% natural soy wax with cotton & linen wicks to give a long, clean smoke free burn and premium fragrance oils that are paraben and phalate free, which are sourced in the UK and are not tested on animals and suitable for vegans.
We don’t use any dyes in our candles but you may notice that some of the candles that have orange in the fragrance are slightly coloured.
If you follow our candle care page then soot & smoke should be minimal. We work hard testing our candles and trying to get the correct wick to reduce this from happening.
Remember to trim the wick to 4mm prior to lighting, and keep the candle away from draughts and items that may catch fire.
If you follow our candle care page you’ll get the longest possible burn. Our travel tins will burn for 20-25 hours, our amber jars will burn for 30-35 hours, our 30cl glasses will burn for 35-40 hours and our three wick candle 45 hours.
We use glass and tin containers that are recyclable & re-usable.
We try to use the least amount of plastic possible. Our hand and body wash containers are made from PET which is recyclable.
Our tissue paper is printed with ink that is soy-based and our tissue is completely acid free and FSC Certified.
With every order I make for tissue paper, the company  plant a tree in an area of need.
We re-use as many of our boxes as possible and try to use recyclable air cushion packaging/ shredded card.
Our boxes are recyclable cardboard.
